George M. Shanks, Jr.
George M. Shanks, Jr. has been admitted to the State Bar of Texas since 1966. In 1963, Mr. Shanks received his BBA from Sam Houston State University and received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas in 1966. Mr. Shanks is a member of the Houston Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, National Association of Professional Mortgage Women and the Texas Mortgage Brokers Association. Mr. Shanks has served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association.

Mr. Shanks developed a document preparation company, Nationwide Documents, Inc. which was the largest in the United States, preparing mortgage documents in all fifty states. Nationwide was sold to First American in 1998. He has been partners in the firms Shanks and Butler; Shanks, Tritter, Ledbetter and Daniel and George M. Shanks, Jr.


W. Derek Darby
W. Derek Darby has been admitted to practice law in the State of Texas since 2005. In 2002, Mr. Darby received his Bachelor of Business Administration Cum Laude in finance with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from Angelo State University. He received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in 2005. Mr. Darby is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association, Houston Realty Breakfast Club, Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, Texas Association of Mortgage Brokers, and National Association of Professional Mortgage Women. Mr. Darby practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate law as well as commercial litigation.


Linda M. Lueders
Linda M. Lueders has practiced law in Houston since 1977. Ms. Lueders received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Houston in 1967, a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1971, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston Law Center in 1977. Ms. Lueders has more than thirty years experience in residential real estate law, including eleven years with her own firm, Linda M. Lueders & Associates. Ms. Lueders is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the Texas Land Title Association. Ms. Lueders practices in the area of residential real estate law. She is also a registered Native American and a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma
Deanna L. Dyer
Deanna L. Dyer has been practicing real estate law in the Houston area since 2001. She has worked in the title and mortgage lending industries since 1999. Her areas of practice are residential and commercial real estate. Ms. Dyer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998. In 2001, she graduated from South Texas College of Law, where her focus was in Real Property and Real Estate Finance. She is a licensed escrow officer and holds a Texas real estate agent’s license.
